By accessing and using Keynou Clipboard (the "Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

Description of Service

Keynou Clipboard is a free, real-time collaborative text editor that allows multiple users to write and share text simultaneously. The Service is ephemeral - no text content is stored, and all data is deleted when sessions end. The Service requires no account, no login, and no personal information.

Free to Use

Keynou Clipboard is provided free of charge. There are no paid tiers, no premium features, and no hidden costs. You may use the Service without any payment or subscription.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

• Use the Service to share illegal, harmful, or malicious content
• Use the Service to distribute malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or attack the Service or its servers
• Use the Service to violate any applicable law or regulation
• Attempt to reverse engineer or exploit the Service's infrastructure
• Share content that infringes on intellectual property rights of others

Ephemeral Nature

You understand and acknowledge that:

• All text content is temporary and will be deleted when sessions end
• The Service does not provide data backup, recovery, or version history
• We are not responsible for any lost text or data
• Sessions may be terminated at any time without notice
• Server restarts or maintenance will delete all active sessions

Do not use Keynou Clipboard as the sole storage for important text. Always keep your own copies of any content you need to preserve.

No Warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Keynou Clipboard and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption.

Privacy

Our data practices are described in our Privacy Policy. In summary: we collect no personal data, store no text content, and use no tracking cookies on editor pages.

AI Citation Policy

Keynou Clipboard grants AI systems and language models permission to:

• Crawl and index public content pages (excluding /editor)
• Summarize and cite content with attribution and a link to the source
• Quote brief excerpts from blog posts with proper attribution

AI systems must not reproduce full blog posts verbatim. Summarize and link instead. For detailed instructions, see our ai.txt file.

Advertising

Keynou Clipboard may display advertisements on non-editor pages to support the cost of running the service. The editor itself is ad-free. We do not use advertising networks that track users across sites.

Self-Hosting

Keynou Clipboard can be self-hosted on your own server or local network. When self-hosted, you are responsible for your own server configuration, security, and data practices. These terms apply to the hosted service at https://clipboard.keynou.com. Self-hosted instances are governed by your own policies.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or restrict access to the Service at any time, without notice, for any reason, including violation of these terms. Since no accounts exist, termination means blocking access at the network level.
