Keynou Clipboard is designed with privacy as a fundamental principle. We do not collect, store, or track personal data. This privacy policy explains exactly how our service works and what data (if any) is processed.
Keynou Clipboard does not use a database. All text entered into the editor exists only in the server's RAM (memory) during an active collaboration session. When the session ends - either when the last user disconnects or the server restarts - all text is permanently deleted.
We do not store, cache, or persist any text content to disk, files, databases, or any other storage medium.
We do not require accounts, logins, or any form of authentication. We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any other personally identifiable information. Optional display names are stored only in your browser's localStorage and are never transmitted to or stored on our servers.
Keynou Clipboard does not use tracking cookies. The editor pages set no cookies whatsoever. We do not use analytics, advertising trackers, or fingerprinting technologies on editor pages.
Public content pages (landing page, blog, SEO pages) may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand traffic patterns. No personal data is collected through these analytics.
When you join a collaborative session, the following temporary data is held in server memory:
All of this data is deleted when the session ends. None of it is written to disk.
All communication between your browser and our server is encrypted using HTTPS and WSS (secure WebSocket). Text content is transmitted over encrypted channels and is never sent over unencrypted connections.
Keynou Clipboard does not share data with third parties. We do not use third-party analytics on editor pages, do not embed social media widgets, and do not use advertising networks that track users. If we add any third-party services in the future, this policy will be updated.
Our server may log standard HTTP request metadata (IP addresses, timestamps, request paths) for security and operational purposes. These logs do not contain text content from editor sessions. Logs are rotated and deleted regularly.

Since we do not collect or store personal data, traditional data subject access requests (such as GDPR Article 15) are not applicable. There is no personal data to access, export, or delete. If you have concerns, simply close your browser tab - all session data is immediately deleted.
Keynou Clipboard does not knowingly collect any data from children. Since we require no personal information and store no data, the service is safe for users of all ages. We do not direct marketing toward children.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Since we do not collect email addresses, we cannot notify users of changes directly. Please check this page periodically.
